Nomad has been a landmark of Cairo shopping for many years. The first shop opened in 1985. Nomad is a family business that initially grew out of love for travel which led us to remote corners of Egypt and Africa. We were privileged to see some of the strands that weave the rich tapestry which forms Egypt's diverse cultural mix, the crafts and costumes that go with it. What started with us as a passion for local and regional crafts has become a mission to create a constantly changing collection of jewelry, clothing and accessories that combine tradition with contemporary style. Our collection is for the most part produced by in-house artisans and designers so we can guarantee consistent quality and fair pricing. Egypt, Africa and Middle East rich heritage of craftsmanship and design forms the foundation of Nomad’s unique collection of jewelry, clothing and accessories. Nomad designs have been influenced and inspired by traditions and techniques from further afield.
